May 8th
Students read an article on Lewis and Clark mapping the Northwestern territory. They then created their own map of the neighborhood they live in. The article can be found at classjump, under World Cultures 6.

May 2nd
Students created interview questions either from the perspective of a Native American or the perspective of a colonialist. They then wrote a three paragraph article explaining what they have learned.

April 24th
Students read articles either from the perspective of a Native American or from the perspective of a colonialist. They then answered a worksheet on primary sources.

Students watched "Contact and Conflict" and answered the questions using their notes and pages 36-39 in the book. The questions can be found here.
